International Scholarships

Applications are being sought for one postdoctoral position at the bionanotechnology laboratory of Dr. Chuanbin Mao at the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry, University of Oklahoma (OU), USA. The position will remain open until filled.

The candidate is expected to have prior hands-on experience in phage display, cell surface display, or nanomachines. The candidate should have a Ph.D. (or expect to graduate soon) in chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, materials science, or related disciplines. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work in a multi-disciplinary environment and build a strong publication record.

Our newly established lab is equipped with modern facilities such as chemical synthesis, protein expression and purification, cell & tissue culture, molecular cloning, and microscopy imaging. The city of Norman was recently ranked as one of the best places to live in the US (http://money.cnn.com/magazines/moneymag/bplive/2006/snapshots/PL4052500.html).
