[UK] PhD Studentship in Wireless Communication Technology at The University of Liverpool
PhD Studentship Department of Electrical Engineering and Electronics To join a three year EPSRC funded project in Signal Processing and Communications Research Group, Department of Electrical Engineering and Electronics a well-resourced department with a 5A rating from the last RAE. The project is on adaptive Turbo frequency domain equalization for high speed multiple-input multiple-output wireless communications, which is in collaboration with the Toshiba Communications Research Lab, UK.
You should have at least a bachelor’s degree with first class honours in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent, and have demonstrated academic and research ability in wireless communications and signal processing. A strong mathematical and analytical background is desirable. Good programming skills are desirable. A total amount of £46,155 will be provided to the student for three years, from which the appropriate amount of university fees will be charged.
