[Denmark] Postdoc Researcher at Aarhus School of Business

The Department Marketing and Statistics at Aarhus School of Business invites applications for the position as Post Doc Researcher as from 1 November 2006.

The position is financed by an EU research project (Seafood Plus), and the applicant`s research competence and interest should therefore mainly be in the areas covered by the project, namely consumer behaviour and product development management. The department furthermore expects the applicant`s contribution to the department`s teaching and further research (i.e. beyond the project) to be within these areas. The post expires at project termination, which is 30 June 2008.

The teaching load is expected to run into approximately 220 hours per year, and furthermore a limited number of other department duties may have to be filled. Academic qualifications at the PhD level or similar are required.

The overall assessment will emphasize the applicant`s research potential. It is a prerequisite that the applicant pledges him/herself to taking an active part in the department`s teaching and research environment. As a result of the increasing internationalisation of our programmes we expect applicants to be able to teach in English.

The application must contain • CV • Documented information on research and teaching qualifications • A complete, numbered list of publications and working papers • A selection of five (5) research publications and/or working papers in hardcopy on which the applicant wishes to be evaluated. These must be marked by * on the list of publications and working papers. • Co-author statements relating to the publications selected. Application and enclosures must be submitted in triplicate.

The applicants will be evaluated by an expert committee whose assessment of each applicant will be sent to the person involved.

The appointment will be made in accordance with the agreement between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the appointee’s organisation.
