			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Centre for Atmospheric Research, University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand. The Fellow will work with mesoscale models &#8211; MM5 and/or WRF &#8211; on the University&#8217;s new high-performance computer. This research will mainly focus on numerical sensitivity analysis of mesoscale flows in complex terrain, such as thermally forced flow in an inland basin in Central South-West Asia and katabatic wind over Darwin-Hatherton Glacial System in Antarctica.This project is being undertaken in collaboration with researchers from Department of Geography, and Gateway Antarctica.</p>

<p>The successful applicant will have completed a PhD in Atmospheric Sciences or a related field. Preference will be given to those who have experience working with either MM5 or WRF on parallel computer architecture.</p>
